What is Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia tequila?
Tequila Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo José Cuervo is a special edition Premium Tequila in a numbered hand-blown glass bottle. The bottle is sealed with wax from the oldest distillery in the world. This tequila is aged for a minimum of 3 years in barrels.
How is it made?
- Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is obtained with a 100% blue agave base. It is then aged for 3 years in oak barrels. The bottled blend contains tequila from reserves over 30 years old.
- To produce Jose Cuervo tequila, the best agaves from the estate with a minimum of 10 years of life are used. They are hand-selected. Only the heart of the agave pineapple, the most tender part, is used to produce this distillate.
- Each 70 cl bottle is handmade by a craftsman who numbers, dates and seals it with wax to offer an exclusive product. Each year the Jose Cuervo family commissions a designer to design the outer box.
