It is fermented without chemical yeasts and cooked in wooden ovens before being distilled. It is then aged for 8 months in American oak barrels.

How do you taste?

To the eye, it has an orange appearance with elegant brown tints and golden glints. On the nose, it has aromas of wood, caramel, vanilla and dried fruits. In the mouth, its flavor is full of wood with hints of vanilla and caramel. It is silky and elegant, with a spicy and astringent character.

How is it recommended to enjoy Zignum Reposado mezcal?

To enjoy it as the locals do in different areas of Mexico, it is recommended to drink it in small sips, holding the mezcal in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing. Then, ingest a piece of orange to enhance the flavor of the agave.

Technical data

Zignum Reposado mezcal has an alcohol content of 38% vol. and its distillery is located in Mexico. It is made from agave angustifolia haw, pure water and cooked in wooden ovens. It is then aged for 8 months in American oak barrels.

What makes it different from traditional mezcal?

Zignum Reposado mezcal is distinguished by its non-smoky flavor and its high mixability, which makes it ideal for tasting on its own or in cocktails. It extracts the juices from the green agave (espadín) before cooking, thus eliminating the smoky flavor characteristic of traditional mezcal.

What service tips are recommended?

It is recommended to enjoy it in a shot glass, accompanied by orange slices and with worm salt.

What awards have you received?

Zignum Reposado mezcal is the most awarded mezcal in the world, having won the Gold Medal at the SIP Awards 2010, Mediterranean Wine & Spirits Challenge 2010, Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2010 and Silver Medal at the Beverage Tasting Institute 2010 and 2011, in addition to the Bronze Medal at IWSC 2010.

Summary

Mezcal Zignum Reposado is a distillate of agave angustifolia haw from Mexico.

It has an alcoholic strength of 38% vol.

It is made in copper stills and fermented without chemical yeasts.

It is cooked in wood ovens and then rests for 8 months in American oak barrels.

It has an orange color with brownish tints and golden glints, and aromas of wood, caramel, vanilla and nuts.

On the palate, it has a full woody flavor with hints of vanilla and caramel.

It can be enjoyed on its own or in mixology for cocktails that will give them a unique flavor.

It is the most awarded mezcal in the world.

The Zignum brand name means “spearhead”.

Zignum Reposado mezcal is the perfect balance between delicate and intense notes, as well as sweet and toasted, thanks to its 8 months of maturation in American oak barrels.

It has notes of honey, vanilla and caramel balanced with bright hints of orange.

Mezcal Zignum Reposado is a distillate of agave angustifolia haw from Mexico.

[308
313,693
post-7256","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-mezcal-en","product_tag-mezcal-en","product_tag-zignum-en","first","instock","sale","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple

Mezcal ZIGNUM Reposado - Also Tequila

<meta name="description" content="✅ Mezcal Zignum Reposado!
