Tequila Herradura Añejo is a jewel presented to the world in 1962 by the historic Casa Herradura, founded in 1870. In the old walls of the San José del Refugio hacienda, the first reposados and añejos were created and bottled, forever changing the world of tequila.

This aged tequila offers an exceptionally smooth taste, releasing notes of cooked agave, toasted oak and dried fruits on the palate. Its rich, deep aroma of cooked agave blends with discreet nuances of spice and smoky wood.

Made with modern and traditional distillation techniques, Herradura Añejo rests in American white oak barrels for 25 months, 13 months longer than most tequilas. It is made from 100% blue weber agave, which brings the best flavor and quality to this exceptional tequila.

To enjoy this tequila to the fullest, we suggest the Margarita Herradura: 50 ml Tequila, 25 ml lime juice, ½-¾ teaspoon agave syrup. Mix and shake with ice, then strain over ice and garnish the rim with salt and a slice of lime.

Tequila Herradura Añejo has been awarded the Platinum Medal, SIP Awards Best of Class, Bronze Medal, International Spirits Challenge 2014 and Bronze Medal, Los Angeles International Spirits Competition 2014.

For an optimal experience, we recommend trying the Herradura Margarita. If you prefer to enjoy it on its own, you can serve 4 cl of Herradura Añejo tequila on the rocks.
